Frequently asked questions

Do I need a referral from my physician for an examination?

Yes.

Do you have a waiting list for examinations?

No. As soon as we receive your request, we communicate with you to schedule the examination prescribed by your physician.

Are taxes included on your price list?

Yes, the price shown on the list is the total price.

Is there parking available?

There is a paying parking lot adjacent to the clinic, to the south on Guy Street (between Sherbrooke and De Maisonneuve streets).

Which is the closest subway station?

The subway station which is the closest to the clinic is Guy-Concordia, on the green line. The clinic is a two-minute walk from the station.

I am scheduled for a scintigraphy and/or a PET/CT scan at your clinic and I am allergic to iodine. Is there a risk?

No, since no iodine is administered for these examinations. At our clinic, only some of the CT scan examinations offered require the injection of a product containing iodine. In those cases, we make sure the patient has no such allergy before the examination.

What methods of payment are accepted?

Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard or debit card. Payment may also be made by certified cheque or in cash. A deposit is sometimes required for certain types of examination.

Do insurance companies reimburse the cost of the examination?

Some insurance companies reimburse a portion of the cost of the examination; you must contact your insurer and request reimbursement directly. We will provide you with a receipt when you come for your appointment.

Is the cost of my examination covered by the RAMQ?

No.
